Founded in 2005, Version One Productions is the production company of Brittany Huckabee, a documentary director and story producer whose work examines what happens when people collide with the systems that structure their lives. Her feature documentaries have aired on PBS, Netflix, and Showtime and premiered at Sundance and Tribeca, earning multiple Emmy nominations. In addition to making her own films, Brittany works with other directors and organizations to shape story at every stage—from early development and interview strategy through structural editing in post. She serves on the faculty of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. Scroll down for selected projects.
